Nervous & Phobic patient care

Sharon Woolf is well trained in phobic dentistry and is well recognised as one of the areas best dentists for nervous or phobic patients, receiving referrals from Hospitals and other dentists to be treated in her Manchester clinic.

Sharon is patient and takes time to put her clients at ease, and all treatment can be carried out with the support of sedation (relative analgesia) through Entonox (Gas and air).

Gas and air leaves you feeling calm, relaxed and totally in control because you remain conscious.

Entonox is ideal for use with children, or people of any age or gender who may be scared of dentists.

What is relative analgesia? Relative analgesia (RA) is the medical term for what patients know as gas and air. RA is an inhalation sedation technique, which is administered by placing a small hood over the nose only.
